We Look Forward to Seeing You
Come have fun with your fellow Polo Boosters! This is the highlight event of the year. We will have our own Derby races; a magician; dinner; livestream the Kentucky Derby; and conduct the silent auction. This is our annual fundraiser with the goal of raising money for the Villages Polo Club Academy, specifically a new horse, as well as the Injured Players Fund and other needs. We will start off with our own version of the Derby, followed by dinner, so be prepared to race. We'll watch the Kentucky Derby using two screens and two streaming services. The silent auction will include a wide variety of goods, services and experiences. Lordi will be on hand to keep us entertained and to perform a live auction for some items, including a handmade quilt. Come out and join your fellow polo aficionados, players, grooms and sponsors. Wear your Derby finery and have fun!

Spring Party on March 7 at Field 3
The rivalry between polo student George Romero and the Pony Up Polo Boosters continued with the Destiny team defeating our Polo Booster team by one goal. Lordi served as our caterer! He served up hamburgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken, salad and baked beans. Everyone had a great time enjoying polo and delicious food. All in all a very succesful event with 56 (1/2 pictured above) Boosters in attendance.

The Sad News From Wellington
Both of our local teams, Seacoast Bank and State Farm Insurance lost their matches at Wellington on Monday. We congratulate them on earning a slot to compete in The President's Cup and we'll be cheering them on this weekend.
Last Few Days for Tickets for the Kentucky Derby Party
For this event, we do loosen up our policy and allow you to bring friends and neighbors. If you have any special requests, please sent an email to ponyuppoloboosters@gmail.com. Deadline is 9PM on Fri, Apr 24 so that we can get a headcount to the caterer. The Annual Kentucky Derby Party will take place on May 2, 5:30PM, at Seabreeze Recreation Center. The Good News
The cash raffle on Sundays is going very well! Due to the generosity of the Boosters, polo fans and visitors, we've raised $7646.25 so far. Our goal for a new pony for the polo academy is $10,000. Let's hope the weather continues to cooperate and we have two more successful weekends of fundraising. Huge shout out to Zona who is a raffle ticket selling machine, along with Teddy and Michelle. Proceeds from the Derby Party silent auction will also go towards this goal.

Love polo? Enjoy being a member of the Pony Up Polo Boosters? You can help by becoming a member of the Board. It meets the first Wednesday of every month at Churchill Recreation Center at 10AM. Help out with spreading the word about Polo to our Villages community. There are two requirements - love of the sport and a Villages ID card. Come check it out at our next meeting on May 6.

We've been asked to offer the blue Pony Up Polo Boosters polo shirt for sale. The shirts include the Pony Up logo embroidered on the front. These are great shirts for our Florida weather and are comfortable to wear. If you want to see one before you order, find Beth at the Information Desk before matches.
